According to Jung, everything old hints at some change about to occur, something coming, a transition. How did you feel about the person or object that was old? If an object, what condition was it in and how did you react to that? Is there something in your waking life that you need to value more, repair, or renovate?

I keep on dreaming of a fading picture of my Grandmother who passed away recently. I don’t remember being close to her but feel sad My sisters and I weren’t invited to her funeral.

I had the strangest dream ever. I dreamt that I was in the old neighborhood where my grandmother lived and i was in a car I did not recognize and my mother was driving. I was leaning out the window and yelling “Bruja! Bruja!” (which is spanish for witch) while driving down the street my grandmother lived on. When we got to the end my mother said, “I don’t know where the witch is! She’s usually sitting outside on the porch…” Then suddenly we saw her outside a small one story white house in a rocking chair. Then we walked inside and it was like a store from the olden days. It had wooden walls and different things for purchase. There were many people walking around. Then I saw the witch. She was an older woman and she bent down and looked me in the face. She kept pacing back and forth in front of me….then all of a sudden I was transported to an operating room. I was watching a surgical team operating on someone. And there were people there feeding me mexican candy with surgical tools from the operating room. Then i woke up…
