If choking on something, what is hard to swallow? Is someone trying to stuff something down your throat? You may be trying to cut off the expression of emotions, especially anger or sadness (all choked up). Choking someone else suggests feelings of aggression or, more benevolently, perhaps you are just trying to stop a flow of words. If you are being choked, consider what situation or person or aspect of yourself is trying to disrupt your life flow, your progress toward self-fulfillment.
