If you are not pregnant, to dream of having a baby can symbolize the birth of a new attitude or viewpoint; new project; new recognition or acceptance of your inner child. It can also refer to separating from some recent relationship; release from an old relations; anticipation of a new future. If you dream of your actual child, it may indicate a wish to return to earlier times (and the reactivation of whatever feelings you have about those times); to go back and change the past; a wish that you still had that kind of power or control over your child.
Birth may also be expressed in dreams symbolically as going in and out of holes, caves, or tunnels; swimming, boating, or otherwise navigating through narrow canals.
If you are pregnant, birthing dreams are typical through your pregnancy and may reflect anxiety about your readiness to be a mother. During the third trimester they may serve to actually make your delivery easier.

In this dream, my close friend all of a sudden gave birth outside in woods. The premature baby fit in my hand, then another baby was born. But they were so small that I was the one in panic, saying let’s get them to a hospital. My friend did not panic. Hours later we took the babies to hospital but was too late, the two newborn premi twins died. I don’t get what it could possibly mean.

I also had a dream weeks after having the ultra-sound dream that I was in the delivery room with my legs in the stirrups and I was arguing with the doctor, about having a c’section. I have always had vaginal deliveries but this one was different. The doctor delivered both babies and all I heard my husband say over and over again was “We have twins” “They are twin girls, they don’t look alike, but they are twins.” Keep in mind I already have three beautiful boys and we are trying for our last pregnancy. I have had a weird feeling like I know it is going to be twins. Before the dreams ever existed I was seeing signs, every time I turned on the T.V they would have an episode on twins or anyone would have a conversation with me outside of the house twins would be brought up. And last but not least my sister in-law called me and said she dreamed I had twin girls who were fraternal and she even gave me the name of one of those twins. Funny thing was, we (my husband and I) were kicking around this name and never told anyone. So I guess we are not the only ones who know now. But after those dreams, I think I will just stick with my instincts.

In my dream It was a not-so-well-lit ultrasound room. All I could see was the monitor and when I looked at the monitor I saw what looked like a baby at about 7 or 8 weeks. As the Tech was working on the size and the other information she was looking for she moved her hand to one side and there were two babies. I woke up when I realized there were two. But I also remember when waking that in the dream I couldn’t see any faces, but I heard the Ultrasound Tech’s voice. (Nice Lady) And all of a sudden I saw her hand on a very pronounced stomach that looked as if they were at least 5 months along maybe even six. And when she placed her hand on the stomach I then realized that her hand was on my stomach. She was touching my very pronounced stomach.

I have had several dreams over the last few weeks about having a baby. The dreams are always slightly different, but I keep on waking up missing the child that I met in the dream. I’m only 23 and haven’t ever been pregnant, but the dreams are more and more detailed every time. In the most recent, I had a little baby girl. I remember touching her cheek and feeling her skin. I can remember how heavy she was in my arms, and looking at her thinking how perfect she was. I remember thinking, I can’t believe Kris (my boyfriend) and I made something so beautiful. I really felt as though I had met her, and when I woke up I didn’t quite know what to make of the feeling that I missed this child that didn’t exist..

I had a dream that my sister in law was pregnant with her first boy. (In reality she and my brother have 3 daughters). In the dream, they were very excited and they had already decided on the child’s name “Andres” which is in reality is the name of my ex-girlfriend’s nephew. My girlfriend and I broke up about 3 months ago.
Would love to know the meaning of such a weird dream.

I dreamt that my birth mark on my right thigh moved to the upper most part of my thigh and expanded into the shape of the state of Texas. What could that mean?

I had a dream that I was pregnant. But it never did say how I had gotten pregnant. So I asked God how did I get pregnant and it was more like he got mad at me for even aasking him why instead of jus being happy. And my first reaction of that was Mary and giving birth to baby Jesus. Because she actually was a virgin. Then I had another dream that I dont remember so vividly about me being pregnant again. But this time I had to have been at least 5 or 6 months because I was showing. But I was at the grocery store with a group of girls that I had went to school with. And I was getting mad because I couldnt find any chip dip for my chips and they were laughing at me because I had gotten so upset.

I am actually writing in with a dream that someone close to me, named Henry, had recently–
He dreamed that he and I were on a roadtrip with my parents. I was pregnant. I said that I felt something shift, and that I could feel the baby coming. My mom didn’t want to stop, and told me I was probably wrong, so we kept going. As it turns out, the baby was ready to be born. Henry had to deliver the baby. He said all he knew was that the baby belonged to me–he wasn’t sure it was his. Then, he delivered a beautiful baby girl and he looked down where he was holding her in his arms and he was crying. In that moment he knew that she was his. He said that she was so so beautiful, and that he was also aggravated at my mom because she wasn’t listening to me. He said it was like the little girl grew up right in front of his eyes–one moment she was 3, then 11, but she was always beautiful.

2 nights ago I had a dream that some lady @ a clinic told me I was 8weeks pregnant. I went and told my fiance that I was preggo. I was in shock and afraid to tell him. After I told him, I woke up.
The last time I had sex was about 8weeks ago. So I’m wondering what this all means.

I was in a serious relationship for the past few years my boyfriend and I separeted a few months ago. We decided to start dating again shortly after the break up and have been nervous of committing to it again, recently we spent the night together after having an amazing day together as well. The next morning when he woke up he told me that he had a dream that I was pregnant. He couldn’t remember anything else about it just that I was pregnant. He just laughed about it and said we need to be careful that doesn’t happen. I am interested in why he had that dream what it could mean. He never remembers his dreams and says he thinks he doesn’t dream most of the time.

I am pregnant in real life and last night I had a dream that I was holding a Baby Boy who was happy, healthy, and never cried. I was holding him in a convenience store, and everyone was commenting about how sweet and cute he was. - I am 21 wks prego, and still haven’t found out the sex of the baby. Could this mean I am having a Boy?

Had a dream that I was told I was pregnant and that I could give birth at any moment. But I was also told that I was going to be a vessel to give birth to baby rabbits. I painlessly gave birth to a baby girl with a full head of long curly hair. I handed the baby off I gave her a first name but everyone keep referring to using her full name and the last name was one I did not recognize.
Later in the dream I was sitting at the computer and I had a weird feeling, I reached down and I was giving birth to a baby bunny, painlessly. Once again later in the dream, I don’t know if it was another day or hours later in the dream world I again was sitting at the computer and felt the same weirdness and assumed it was another bunny I got up went to the bathroom which was dark, grabbed the object which turned out to be a leg and gently pulled the baby out. She fell to the floor but so softly it was like she fell on pillows. Both babies on arrival I thought I may have hurt them or that they were stillborn and they had to be coaxed into crying. The odd thing is, I was not prepared to become a mother, there was no anticipation, no excitement, and after they were born no joy. I felt indifferent.
In the final stages of the dream in that weird stage where you are kind of awake I remember thinking that it was cool that I had twins but being slightly disappointed because I didn’t want to have girls.
