Ripeness; abundance; fertility; earthly desires; a project that is finally bearing fruit. It is related to the egg because at its center is the seed of the future. When cut open, some fruits (bananas, cucumbers, melons) exhibit the archetypal mandala shape (symbol of the Self) in the center. Forbidden or unreachable fruits may symbolize temptation.
Consider the number of fruits, their shape (masculine or feminine imagery), and the specific kind of fruit.
Round fruits may represent the breast. Luscious, soft fruits can symbolize females, female sexuality, female genitals. Pregnant women often dream of ripening or bursting ripe fruit, as do women on the verge of having their menstrual period. Elongated fruit, banana, can symbolize males, male sexuality, the penis.

Dreamt I was in the field with another female and saw a pepper tree with green peppers. The other person picked a few of the peppers however I did not, but left them to ripen.
