Dream interpretation Crocodile

Crocodiles in your dream can represent danger or aggresiveness. If the crocodiles are concealed beneath the water they might also symbolize hidden animal instincts. Some psychologists say that crocodiles can represent the “devouring” aspect of one’s mother.

I had a dream of my house being invaded by an alligator. I was not hurt as I locked myself in a room but my husband was in the bath. I shouted out to him that there’s an alligator in the house and warned him to remain in the bathroom. But he opened the door and rushed out and the alligator went for him. Fortunately, he managed to evade the alligator by inches and ran into my room. However, his arm was bleeding.

I just woke up a few minutes ago and I hurriedly checked on my dream about a crocodile silently walking along a muddy place. What I just couldn’t understand now is, this “muddy place” where I saw this creature walking was also the same place where I saw people sleeping. I wasn’t sure though, if it was at the beach but I could still remember that I even borrowed a big black pair of slippers which I saw in the middle of the water.

I have a recurring dream that always, ALWAYS involves my best friend and I ending up, either stranded somewhere, or swimming back to shore and then being stranded with the same humongous crocodile. Doesn’t matter where we were, we end up on a beach with deep yellow sand, murky water, gentle breezes, surrounded by smaller (even baby) Crocodiles who all seem dead set on attacking my best friend. Every time I’ve had this dream, I’ve always turned toward the sea and the massive croc was sitting there watching us, and because I looked (or something) he suddenly gets up and comes towards us. It’s never me he focuses on though, all the crocs are trying to get my Best friend and I’m always the first one to see it coming. So what does it mean when the Crocs aren’t actually chasing me, but rather, my best friend and I have to save him?

I’ve had recurrent dreams where I am treading water in this swamp that seems to take up the whole world. There is no ground, just swampwater and jutting cypress trees that shield the sky from view. I’m all alone. It zooms in on my swimming body, then it’s like a camera that submerges beneath the water, and all of a sudden you can see my legs. Right beneath me are thousands and thousands of prehistoric-looking crocodiles or alligators. They don’t chase me, don’t even seem interested in me, they’re just there beneath me, swirling all around my feet. I wasn’t even aware they were there. When I woke up I was kind of freaked out. I always dream of crocodiles or alligators but I never get eaten by them or hurt, sometimes chased, but never really threatened. Anyways I have no idea what it means, it just seems weird to me that this is the only animal I dream of and it’s all the time.

I have a 15 mo baby girl who is my only child. My daughter and I were in a car in the middle of nowhere, or I just didn’t recognize the place. I don’t recall rain, but I do remember everything wet, damp, and drk. We crashed in a pond! I immediately rolled the windows down to allow the water to come in versus the windows getting busted then water rushing in. I crawled in the back, got my dghter out of her car-seat, swam up as fast as I could. When we get out I attend to my dghter fearing the worst. She did swallow a lot of water but she was OK. As I pick up my baby, crying hysterically I take a look at the water and it is the nastiest water I’ve ever seen. Dark & dirty…almost looked like swimming in feces. Then, I see something lurking in the water. A crocodile jumps up out of the water and just in the nick of time I grabbed my daughter and ran. I do not remember the ending.

As I was dreaming all this, my sister-in-law said she heard me crying in my sleep! I’ve never heard of such a thing. Can anyone tell me what this means?

When I was little I would have dreams about a crocodile eating my back and I could feel it but it wasn’t painful. It just felt strange and I would have to lift my back.

My friend and I were at the zoo. (I actually don’t know who are those people I called friend, it is so weird, that happens all the time. I dream of being with someone I don’t know and call them friend family etc…) Well, we are in this huge beautiful zoo when we pass the crocodile section. We are walking on a wooden floor below which are these 4 or 5 huge huge crocodiles. When we are walking I notice that the fence and the floor beside the fence are brittle and I can see that it will collapse if someone steps on it. Then my friend went to the fence so I shouted stop and don’t go. She almost fell but I saved her. The crocodile also jump trying to reach my friend and eat her.(weird, crocodile cant ump) I told everyone about the floor but it seems like they don’t care. So I try to go to the other place, but everywhere I go there’s always this huge crocodile and the scary brittle wooden floor and fence…seems like crocodile wont stop till he/she can eat all of us. However they don’t attack other people and the crowd seems to know about that dangerous path but no one does anything to fix it. OK thats all - my cat woke me up hehehe…I hate dreams where I always need to save someone its scary…

I had a dream about me and my cousin being late to school. And like our aunt drove us. Then we ended up seeing my other aunt and she drove us. Then we ended up at a zoo . And then we went down into the water and started cracking up bout how ghetto it is becuz they didn’t have a real crocodile because we saw a plastic one. Then I went up becuz it got lame? Then went my cousin was about to come up. The crocodile was attacking her a big one a real one. Then she & the crocodile wrestle. When she finishes wrestling it she smiles. Then when she was coming up but there was a green ghost lady (like the ring).
