Usually dreaming of a wolf represents a symbol of loyalty. A wolf in a dream can be interpreted as a parthfinder and may be pointing the way. A wolf can mean death or the animus, especially in fairy tales, in which it takes the form of a devouring desire to eat up everyone and everything. Sometimes wolf in a dream is symbol of things that are out to get us, wolf is usually just fear. Sometimes we may find ourselves a prisoner of such feelings. The wolf as is suggested by such fairy stories as Red Riding Hood, also represents the female fear of powerful male sexuality, repressed sexuality or anger, emotions and drives you are frightened of.

I was only 13 when my dad died but about every month I would have a dream that he would come back and tell mr weird thing’s. In fact very strange thing’s - like about my future and what would a happen if I didn’t change my way’s. But I did change because in these Dreams their was a Wolf and it had the same voice as my dad, like it can talk and tell me to sleep in a room full of people and if I didn’t something would happen. But at first I thought nothing of it, but then that night I woke up and I couldn’t move at all. I felt like I was floating in the air and went though the ceiling and the sky. I can’t tell you the rest but then the next day something else happened in my dream.
I didn’t do as my dad asked - well at least I think it was my dad but I didn’t do has he asked. So when I slept that night I woke up again and I couldn’t move. There where these tall black figures and in only like two seconds they were all around my bed and staring at me and I couldn’t talk at all. i couldn’t even move and then they grabbed me and then I couldn’t remember the rest. This went on for About 3 years but then the next I told everyone about it. But then some of my family members said they where having the same dream and with my dad in it.
So we all slept in the same room and sure enough I had a dream that I saw my dad again and I was happy but he told me that it was good that I finally would do as he asked and he said to do this weird thing. I won’t tell anyone about this thing I do every night, and when I did this thing I was never bothered again by these things. But then he came again has a wolf to me andn he told me a weird story and that those thing’s were from another world. That is something I my self will never believe and he new that I never believed it and he never came to me in a dream ever again because I never believed him.

My dream the other night was very real. I get up to look out my front window and see 3 wolf-llike dogs. The two were digging in my flower bed and the third one was at the north side of my house digging in the dirt. I was annoyed at them and yelled through the window to stop. But, I noticed a man across the street watching them and holding their leashes. I couldn’t see the man’s face. The wolf dogs appeared friendly, their tails were wagging. I’m trying to understand this message being given to me. Could it be “the father, son and holy spirit”? or, another message. I have 3 son’s. Dreaming of dogs is a good omen…any suggestions on my dream?

I remember I was in the forest. It was present day, I remember that, but there were Indians, like Chiefs. I was inside a Longhouse and I remember the heat that was within. I could tell it was summer and I was sweating like a dog. I wanted to know what these men were saying as I was the only female within the room. I stepped out for some air and sat upon the stone steps outside of the long house. Wiping my forehead, I remember a wolf, a wolf bigger than me on all fours. I stood a mere five foot five and this wolf still towered over me.
I remember just staring up into his golden eyes and he nudged me gently. I wasn’t scared, I actually felt safe to be with him and I took in his appearance. A black, brown and white wolf, beautifully mixed together. I watched as he made his way to my side, lied down and allowed me to pet him. His fur was soft and I was smiling as I did so. I felt so at ease and I remember, a man who looked just like Sitting Bull came out with his headress on his head and smiled at me and the wolf and started speaking once more.
I strained to listen to, to try to understand the language he was speaking but I couldn’t. He pointed to me and the wolf and grinned and that’s all I could remember and than I woke up.

In my dream I was a silver wolf and I didn’t have a family, but an animal found me and returned me to my long lost father. He was the alpha wolf - big and strong but he was brown. He was getting other packs to help him with a war against another pack of wolves who have been doing the same as him. He showed me around and explained things to me. When I understood I convinced him to let me lead everyone into the war. All I remember after that is me running in armor and leading the wolves into the war from an overhead view of everything.

I dreamt that I was standing outside my old elementary school. Walking across the parking lot I could see the dentist’s office, but the door of the office was replaced with the door I should never open from my grandfathers house. I opened the door despite my insane fear of opening that door.
Inside I found myself in a small room with a corner I could not see past. When I looked around the corner I saw a doorway with a green dyed woolen blanket hanging infront of it. I heard a voice that I must not look past the blanket. I peeked inside and down a staircase into a cellar with dirt floor and cobblestone walls, I saw my two retrievers laying dead on the floor bleeding profusely. I heard intense laughter and stepped back. On the hanging blanket was my face laughing a manic laughter. In my head I heard the words “Die, die, die!” over and over again. I felt a sudden jerk as a big grey maned wolf pulled me out by the neck, as I sat on the parking lot crying the wolf licked me and said “Farewell”.
I woke up that night at 03:40 AM Icy cold and soaked to the bone. My grandfather died that night and my dogs died in close succession shortly afterwards of sudden and aggressive cancer. I found the very same blanket from my dream at my grandfathers place, and when I touched it I felt cold. I burned it.

In my dream I am a wolf, a large white one. The four people I love the most are with me and are also wolves. It starts with us running through the woods, but I cant keep up with them. I push my self harder, but still can’t catch up. Then I hear a noise like a dog yelping. I start running as fast as I can until I hit a clearing. Once in the clearing I see all my loved ones lying there bleeding, now in human form. Standing over one of them is a giant black wolf. It howls and I lunge for it. That’s when I wake up.

I was looking out my window down onto the front of my apartment building. The pack of wolves were jumping at my windows, I wasn’t afraid….the wolves had cubs that I wanted to go get. My mother in the dream asked me did I want one of the cubs, I never went to get one. I just remember looking at this little black and white cub, the bigger wolves were pretty but I don’t completely remember them.

My dream: I’m walking down a road that leads to my street. There is an old wall with an over grown train track on top that is no longer used. There is this apartment building on one side and a single house on the other of this road. In the wall there is an arch, a large one, where cars can pass through.
As I come close to the short tunnel, two wolves, (still a distance away), seem to materialize out of nowhere in front of the apartment building, and they run away from me. Both have white on their throats and bellies and legs and both are so grey they look smokey blue. They disappear into the trees. Then I find myself on the other side of the tunnel, looking back through the way I had come and I see the tunnel is like something out of a fairy tale. There is a pond on the floor, vines and thorns growing over the sides, and rocks scattered about with fireflies floating about. I have this feeling that I want to go back through, but I wake up. I only had this dream once.

I have been dreaming of wolves since i got married about 7 yrs ago. I am not a huge wolf fan, although they are beautiful and an awe, but I just am not a wolf person. But for some reason the last few years off and on I would have the same reoccurring dream of being the forest. There is snow on the ground and trees. I am walking, and then a pack of wolves surrounds me. I am not sure exactly what was going on, if they were snarling at me or trying to tell me something. I keep waking up so I never find out.
For some reason the last few months, I have lived in this house for two years, the feeling of wolves feels near by. I wont even go out at night as its worse and frightening since I don’t know what it means or what for. During the day its still there but not as scary. My recent dream was different though. I don’t remember much but I do remember a wolf being more of a spirit kind of thing. They are greyish wolves and apparently we have grey wolves in the Olympic mountains nearby. It’s annoying me since I have nothing to go on and I just want something to explain why the wolves keep coming in my dreams, and the feeling of wolves nearby is so strong.

So in my dream last night for some weird reason my boyfriend and I were walking around a university that’s in a game called “Oblivion”. I saw a black wolf (the same wolf that’s been in all my other dreams) and it was just standing there. I hid behind my boyfriend who just stood there and then I woke up. What I wanna know is what this wolf is trying to show or tell me.

im a big fan of wolves and last night had to of been the coolest dream iv had…im 18. I was in the woods with my aunt and we were just walking then we met this boy about my age and he showed us he could turn into a wolf. He became this beautiful black wolf then he asked me if i wanted to be a wolf, he knew an old indian method we could do…my aunt just sat back and watched. a few mins later i became a pure white wolf and howled up at the moon and ran around, gettin use to this new form. The boy left then came back with a rabbit in his jaws, i told him i wasnt quite ready to hunt yet and he said he’d teach me…then the dream ended. -it had to of been the best dream because i could feel everything. paws, fur, teeth, ears…amazing.

In the beginning- as a child- i used to have a dream every single night of myself flying over the top of forest for 2 years. Then my parents took me to an indian reservation and the chief took special interest in me and gave me a dream catcher for free. When i got older that dream of flying faded and one took its place every single night for 8 years. And would even manifest its images as a flash even when i was awake. The dream was that i and 4 others was camping. We was positioned in front of the ridge laying in sleeping bags around the fire asleep. I heard some rustling and yellow eyes of animals all around. Started hearing and seeing wolves of grey and other mix color coats close in around my friends and attacking them. I literally felt them biting and tugging at my feet and legs and i kept looking ahead in front of the fire. And then this black wolf- the biggest of them all came in last and stood upon my chest with massive weight. I stared into its eyes while it was upon me until everything went dark when it bit my face off and that’s when i always woke up in a deep swet. This dream ended finally when i was 18 and i was in a circumstance kinda like that. It was at the lake and their was the hill embankment and fire pit and i seen 2 huge wolves running up on me after getting out of the boat and onto the pier to head back to the cottage. 1 wolf took the high hill the other charged strait at me so i hustled me and my friends back into the boat. They claim they never seen them. But… Anyway.. Im 31 now and last night i had another wolf dream.. I seen a yellow-brown wolf chasing 5 white dear in my dads back field while my dad and i was working in the barn. After seeing this i seen a white wolf pup coming too me peacefully and i petted it. All the sudden it flashed to where that was no longer a white puppy but now a full grown white adult and attacking me. I was wondering if anyone else has dreams like this that pester them for years on end every night.

I dreamt I was at work on a night shift in a care home with a colleague (which I work with in real life) only the home was one I used to work which is close to a wooded area. I dreamt that wolves came down from the woods and were outside trying to get in. I was trying desperately to shut and lock the door. The wolves didn’t get in thankfully. I have since read that wolves in this example mean possibly bullying at work or a betrayal of secrets. The colleague in the dream has been gossiping about me in real life, and this must be playing on my mind. Wow I love wolves but I was very scared in my dream.

I was on this street surrounded by ppl and all of a sudden this pack of wolves came running. They were on both sides of me and I could feel their fur on my legs as they ran by. Then one came back as I was walking away, still very scared, and he started licking me. I never turned around to look at him.

I remember nothing, but this, of my dream.. ;
I was walking down a narrow path that used to have a railway line a century or so ago. It was surrounded by foliage, trees and darkness - it was night, severely overgrown and the tops of the wilderness were softly highlighted by the moon. The air was cold, but not uncomfortable. I was walking a long the path, to where i do not know but i felt eyes on me and when i held my breath it was quiet enough to sense the pattering of feet behind me. When i sped up, the noise sped up until i dared myself to turn around and all i can make out are shapes darting in to the darkness at the sides of the road. I walk on carefully but at the same pace, scared, trying to catch whatever it is out i keep turning around but they vanish in to the dark far too fast for me to make out. I decide to turn around and charge them, shouting and screaming. Only im barking, snorting and growling, i jump in to the first shape i see to see a wolves behind with its front end in to the darkness. As i lunge on to it teeth beared.. Im woken up by my girlfriend hitting me in the back, telling me im pretty “sleep-growling”,
(those were not her words but it was my way of finding it funny.) When I wake up i realise i was a wolf in my dream too. Didn’t know what to make of it but i can’t forget it and i just happened to come across this.

I had a dream about a wolf pack. I thought the wolves were going to attack me, but instead they surrounded me and protected me from something that was dangerous.

I had a dream last night of a silvery grey wolf that was nice to me at first and then it seem to start getting aggressive. In my dream it seems like it was hungry and it was trying to attack me but I ended trapping it inside a garage of some sort. I some how ended up with a vial and syringe and filled it and cracked the door open a little bit to see her. She was calm now but I ended injecting her with something to put her down… She was sitting there by the door in a calm manner and she seem to take it alright when I gave her that shot. The dream was so vivid but then I felt like I lost a part of me when I gave her that shot… I felt a connection and I am very sad and afraid that I might have lost that. I hope to see her again to say that I am very sorry for hurting her…

I had a dream about a wolf trying to attack me, but then this black dog came to protect me. She (the black dog) did not leave until the airplane that I was gonna use was ready to go…

I had a dream last night where me and my mom were in a car and I had my door open. A wolf stuck its mouth in the door and I shut the door on its mouth… The wolf was grey and just as big as the car. When I opened the door, I thought the wolf was going to attack me but the wolf turned out to be sweet and let me pet it. Thats all I can remember of that dream was just the part about the wolf.

This happened some time ago but my dream started with me running and being chased by something. I was running through the woods when I stopped suddenly. I was lost I turned around to face the noise. Bam, I went down a large black wolf jumped on me and bit me. I woke up in my dream on my living room floor. My brother was telling me we had to camp outside tonight.
I went outside to help set up camp. I walked into the drive way and a dog started to jump at me then ran back up to another dog. I looked at them for some time - it was my dead dog and her happy little daughter who disappeared right after she died. They turned to leave then I saw the large black wolf leading them away. I was terrified I ran back to the camp, but no one had seen a thing. We made a fire as it was growing very dark. I could feel the wolf watching me. But couldn’t see him and no one else did.
I walked around the side of our house when I saw something dog-like in the shadows. I grabbed a little gardening shovel on the ground and stabbed the animal in the heart. I did not stop until the animal was down then I took out the heart. My family had seen me do all of this they did not understand and started to yell an scream at me with fear. I tried to explain that it was after me. I tossed the heart in the fire then went back to the body to burn it. I looked down but it was not the black dog it was the sweet loving daughter.
I was even more terrified then before. I knew he had seen all of this. I failed. I ran back to the fire and yelled at my family to grab more fire wood. At this time I noticed I was bare foot for some odd reason. I went to get my shoes and a flash light it was now so very dark. Which I dropped I bent to get it and saw large black paws. I looked up in time to see his disappointment has he ripped out my heart in return. The last thing I did was scream and know no one had heard me.
This was a very long dream to write down but it went much faster in a dream. Even when I woke up I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had failed the black dog. After this dream I had a couple more about the black wolf but nothing like this again.

I had a dream that I was siting in my living room and a black and white wolf was sitting on the floor facing me, just looking right into my eyes. My guardian spirit is a timber wolf, but I’ve never seen this one before tonight. I’m not sure what he was trying to tell me. Any ideas or input is welcome. I know that his message is important - I just don’t know what it is.
