Dream meaning: Eagle

EagleSoaring; free; majestic; grandeur; independence; height; one’s inner spirit or spirituality. Are you flying high? The eagle is a bird of light, messages made clear as opposed to birds of the night or shadow. As a solar bird, is symbolizes self-renewal. In the Middle Ages and in alchemy, it was equated with the phoenix, also a symbol of regeneration or eternity.

The eagle may suggest that you have able to see large vistas, the whole picture, at one, and within that, to be selective focused, utilizing your eagle eye. For United States citizens it’s symbol of patriotism or nationality; therefore, of belonging or community or identity. It appears as a symbol of sovereignty in the emblems of many countries. In Indian folklore, the eagle is often a symbol of power and leadership. In Greek mythology it is the bird of Zeus and can, therefore, symbolize the archetypal father.

I dreamed of a big brown eagle right outside my window. It approached ever so slowly and calmly flying from across the roof to smack its head on my window and lands just outside my window, then 2 birds, 1 small another bigger next to it. The eagle grabbed the feet of the bigger bird as it flies off in slow motion then as it hangs outside my window it tore the bird which was upside down. And the markings on my window are remnants of its claws (there are markings outside my window which was there prior, it looks like bird made)

I knew something was staring at me while i was sleeping, i opened my eyes to see a big brown eagle sitting near me on the left hand side of my bed near my face. He was brown all over, and had big brown eyes almost like puppy eyes and yellow on his beak just staring at me, he wanted to be on my bed, i said no i don’t want you on my bed, then we were staring again but i started feeling scared, but the eagle took that feeling away. I fell back to sleep feeling good, then i woke up again, i looked to see if he was still there. I was amazed by his beautiful eyes, he never took his eyes of me, but he asked me again can i sit on your bed, my answer was the same no, then fell back to sleep. very strange dream i would like to know what this means

I dreamed of a white Eagle Soaring in the sky and playing in the wind channels. The top of the eagle was silver and I saw it pause in front of a man to look down on him. Then it took off again.

I dreamed an eagle was trying to pluck out my left eye. There was no fear, just a battle between me and the eagle.

I dreamed I was on top of building. I was sitting up in a bed and I was in a white gown. At the foot of the bed, there stood a giant eagle – maybe 15 feet tall. It could have been taller. It had on a white robe. The feathers on his face were very large and its eyes were very big n brown. It never said anything, it just stood as if it was guarding me.

Last night I fell into a deep sleep. One of the most vivid and short dreams in my 23 years of life. As I entered my sub conscious mind I was traveling north with the ocean not more than 10 feet to the east. As I moved along the seawall I saw a great shadow move quickly overhead from left to right. As the shadow moved out I saw three massive eagles of varying size (8-15 ft tall). I thought to myself what amazing creatures as I have seen them before in nature. But as I had this thought I became aware these were no ordinary eagles. The had heads of a silver metallic look and the feathers appeared to me like bronze. I woke up in the air conditioning sweating like a crackhead and now I can’t stop thinking about it and what it could mean. This one will stick with me.

I was walking with my lover on or near a large body of water (Ocean or Lake) with waves crashing the in background when we saw four young eagles flying over us. I said something like “you don’t see that every day…” and he started a long commentary on eagles and their habits. It was peaceful and other-worldly.
